Core Part of the Kiretto

The Hachimine Kiretto is one of the Three Kirettos (notches) in the Northern Alps, along with the Kaerazu Kiretto and the Daikiretto.

The most technical section lies about 20 minutes from the hut, at the lowest saddle between Mt. Kashimayari and Mt. Goryu.

This short section traverses along the valley side and is equipped with two ladders, as well as a small bridge to support footing along the traverse.

During the high season, the trail can become crowded. To help prevent congestion and accidents, please be considerate and yield to other hikers when passing.
